Philippine Hundred Islands Park
Pristine Philippine Hundred Islands Park
If one island is not enough for you, a trip to the Philippine Hundred Islands Park will do you good. That National Park is found in Alaminos City in the northern part of the Philippines - the largest archipelago in Asia - and it is one of the top tourist spots on the country. Far from the urban life, the Philippine Hundred Islands Park is home to people who are longing for a hospitable crowd and friendly atmosphere.
It takes five to six hours of bus ride from the National Capital region of the Philippines. This is the place where you can see giant clams and lose yourself in the different wonders that each island has to offer. The islands look like jewels from the sky surrounded by deep and clear blue waters. With a total of over 1,884 hectares, there are a grand total of 123 islands in this paradise.
To get there, one must take a boat ride. The number of minutes it takes from one island to another is about 20-25 minutes. The boats are operated by private companies. You will see the local nipa huts and feel what it is to be a part of the pristine archipelago called Philippines.
The residents are hospitable and will provide any help in direction or anything that tourists need. There are also pavilions where gatherings may be celebrated. A guesthouse is also available for those who would like to stay overnight. For the visitors who do not wish to stay, cooking areas are available for public use.
